Create Workspace

Asite Collaboration provides ability for Subscribed Users, with Can Create Workspaces system level role, to create a new workspace or clone a Workspace from a Workspace Template.

 

 

1. Click on new Workspace hyperlink OR Click on icon (available to subscribed users with Create Workspaces  System Level Privilege Role) on System home page.

 

Users with Create Workspaces  System Level Role are able to create Subscription based Workspaces for their own organisation.

 

Users with Can Create Flat Fee based Workspaces  System Level Privilege assigned to their role are able to create Flat based Workspaces for their own organisation.

 

 

3. Provide all mandatory information in all respective sections of Basic Workspace Information, Additional Workspace Information, Workspace Settings, Workspace Team - Companies, Workspace Team - Workspace Administrators, Workspace Models ( for BIM enabled Workspace), Tender - Administrators.

 

 

4. Click on save all hyperlink to save all informations.

 

To Clone a workspace from a Workspace Template, go to Workspace Templates Tab on All Workspaces Home page.

 

FAQs

Q. I am a subscribed user but not able to view Create Workspaces icon on the System Home Page.

A. System level role Create Workspaces has not been assigned to you.

 

Q. I can create Workspaces from System Home Page, but I am not able to edit the Workspace information for all Workspaces from within the Workspace (Edit Workspace - Admin menu)

A. You need to have a separate Workspace level privilege for each Workspace individually to be able to edit the Workspace.

 

Q. When I am creating a Workspace, I find the Workspace Subscription dropdown disabled for selection and can create only Subscription based Workspaces.

A. You need to have a special privilege to be able to create Workspaces other than subscription based Workspace.
