Asite Collaboration includes an on-line viewer that will view over 250 file formats including AutoCAD .dwg and Microstation .dgn files. The Viewer is an applet that installs to your computer the first time during first usage.
If the workspace is configured to use Universal Web Viewer, the file will open in Universal Web Viewer - Adoddle View as a separate popup. Click here for detailed help.
The Left-hand panel of the viewer window contains the following areas
Document Details: Including drop-down to change between revisions of the document
Actions: Detailing your action(s) for the displayed revision of the document. Also included are links to "Distribute" the document and "Add a Comment"
Comments: List of comments on the document that are visible to you. Click on a Comment to view all comment details
Comment Details: Displays information such as Name, Title and Content of comment
With Asite R16.1 release, the Asite viewer has been updated with modernized user interface, including enhancements and tools as below.
Navigation bar - color is now submenu instead of toggle,
and includes monochrome,zoom control is now slider, zoom in/out removed
Task bar – new buttons and sub-menus for Annotate,
Review, Redact, Measure, and Publish
Annotation toolbar - four new group Change-mark combination
tools, new highlight tool, arrow pointer tool, rounded rectangle tool,
strikeout text tool, hyperlink tool moved to markup properties toolbar
Redaction toolbar - Redact text, Find and Redact From/To,
and Redact Page tools are added
Thumbnail panel – 6 new navigation icons at the top
of the panel
Changemark panel – Position option added to sort list,
Extract Changemark information button, Changemark discussions including

FAQ's:
Q: I am not able to view PLT files in Asite Viewer
A: PLT files have been created using a different plotter driver which are not supported by Asite Viewer. It is recommended to use HPGL/2 driver to create PLT files to have compatibility with viewer for viewing files on Asite.
