This functionality enables Administrators to copy a folder structure and re-create the same under a selected destination folder. Users with Admin permission on the folders are able to get an option to Copy folder structure in the document listing page.
1. Click on icon in
Folder menu on document listing page.
2. Select the folders and subfolder or entire folder tree required to be moved. Enter the folder name in Folder permission table incase folder name to be changed. Check the permissions from Default, Roles, or Users check box to apply at destination folders.
3. Select the destination folder and click on Continue button.
Note: Users can select only folders with Admin permission on the destination folder.
4. A confirmation page will be displayed with copied folder structure & relevant permissions under destination folder. Click on OK button.
FAQ's:
Q: Why I cannot see the Copy Folder Icon in the Document listing though I can see the Move Folder Icon?
A: You need to get Admin permissions on the folder. Copy Folder Icon will only be visible to the users having Admin permissions on a folder and is not dependent on any privilege.
